University of Alaska Statewide System, 10/06 – Present Web Programmer/Analyst Working for the Academic Affairs department, I've had the opportunity to build a number of web projects for various academic programs, including Alaska Statewide Mentor Project, and Future Educators of Alaska. For both ASMP and FEA I was able to develop extensive data collection sub-sites. Each data collection piece features multiple entry forms using JavaScript/PHP-driven error checking. The data storage components were put together with PHP and MySQL. I also built an intranet for the K-12 Outreach department which features a project management application, a travel system that allows for users to submit their itineraries to the department travel coordinator for pre-approval, and a techonology equipment checkout and inventory system. Nebraska Educational Telecommunications, 7/01 – 6/05 Web Production Specialist Much of my time with NET was spent developing web-based courses for the Nebraska National Guard. I've also collaborated on a number of educational web projects, including NebraskaStudies.org. Most of what I developed for NET focused on front-end development including HTML, JavaScript, and basic graphic design. One large project in which I was in charge of the database development and server side scripting was a training application for detectives of the Nebraska State Patrol. System), a three-tiered web application, and assisted in further development using Visual Basic, VB Script, and Active Server Pages.
